YOGA & MEDITATION
Yoga & meditation originated in Northern India around
5000 years ago and was quickly taken up by neighbouring
countries like China.
Yoga & meditation has been used to study the deeper
dimensions of our body, mind & spirit and with a daily
practice
it can lead us to an intuitive understanding of our body
& mind through the many yoga poses / asanas we
move in and out of, so we may live, work and play with a
deeper connection to maintaining greater health &
perfect harmony, not just with self but with all
consciousness.
There are many different kinds of yoga, meditation &
breath work. Here at The Priory Wellness Centre we focus
on Hatha yoga. A lighter more gentle kind of yoga best
used for beginners or people with health issues, whether
physical or mental.
Here at The Priory Wellness Centre we offer a once a
week one hour class with gentle yoga followed by
meditation. We provide the room, mats, pillows and
blankets, although you may bring your own if you prefer.
All we ask is that you come with an open heart, as we
all work through our physical or mental blocks, allowing
us to shift our view about ourselves, through conscious
kindness, love and compassion to self.
We hope by attending this class it will help you to find
clarity & community amongst like-minded people. |
